International Advanced Mobility Forum 2010: The 3rd Edition

For the third year in succession, scientists, specialists, researchers and representatives of the automobile industry will gather together in Geneva within the framework of the Geneva International Motor Show. IAMF, the forum dedicated to the theme of transportation options for the future, will take place on March 9-10, 2010 in the Congress Centre at Palexpo. More than 30 speakers will present their views on 6 different themes. Visitors to the Geneva Motor Show will have free access to the closing session. The detailed programme is available on the official website www.iamf.ch.

This year, the forum will be dedicated to new technologies for propulsion and to alternative fuels, their storage and availability, including the infrastructure required for distribution and refuelling facilities.

The organisers of the IAMF strive to support and encourage a rigorous exchange and dialogue between different specialists who will be developing our future transportation methods.

In addition to these expert presentations, a public debate will take place regarding the marketing considerations around the launching and commercialisation of alternative technologies, especially electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. This session will take place on Tuesday, March 9th and will bring together known specialists in this domain. For the dialogue session at noon on Wednesday, some 30 companies will present their latest research and acquired knowledge.

The IAMF is not just for specialists, but is equally open to the public. The closing session will be open and free to all visitors to the Geneva International Motor Show and will summarise the major trends and official reports emanating from the two days of the forum.

Detailed information is available on the official website, www.iamf.ch, where you can inscribe directly online.
