IAMF: The Second Edition in 2009 (English+German+French versions)

Building on last year’s success, the forum concerned with transportation for the future, the International Advanced Mobility Forum (IAMF), will take place from 10-12 March 2009 in conjunction with the Geneva International Motor Show. The focus for this year will be: Providing the energy for individual transportation alternatives in the future, and technological solutions to reduce energy consumption.

This scientific and public forum, created to promote transportation technologies and energy sources which respect the environment, is organised by Geneva Palexpo in partnership with the association e’mobile, the Competence Center for Energy and Mobility (CCEM) of the Paul Scherrer Institute, Gasmobile AG, Eurosearch, and the International Energy Agency. The event is also supported by the Swiss Federal Energy Office (OFEN), the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies (FISITA), and the Geneva International Motor Show.

This second edition will be essentially dedicated to alternative energy sources: the optimisation of existing fuels and strategies for future power-generating alternatives. The automotive industry will present their latest developments in clean combustion engines and their visions for more ecological means of propulsion in the future.

The IAMF is presided over by Max Mosley, President of the FIA, who will be accompanied by important personalities from the political, economics, and scientific worlds.

Amongst the almost 400 participants last year, the IAMF welcomed a number of illustrious personalities such as His Highness Prince Albert of Monaco, who was also a patron of the forum.

IAMF : im Aufbruch zur zweiten Ausgabe

Nach dem Erfolg im letzten Jahr, wird das International Advanced Mobility Forum (IAMF), das Forum zum Thema Mobilität der Zukunft vom 10. – 12. März 2009 zum zweiten Mal im Rahmen des Internationalen Automobil-Salons Genf stattfinden. Schwerpunktthemen sind diesmal die Energieversorgung für den Individualverkehr der Zukunft und technisches Massnahmen zur Senkung des Energieverauchs.

Das wissenschaftlich öffentliche Forum hat zum Ziel, umweltfreundliche Technologien und Energieträger zu bewerben. Geneva Palexpo darf für die Ausrichtung auf so namhafte Partner wie den Verband e’mobile, das Competence Center for Energy and Mobility (CCEM) am Paul Scherrer Institut, die Gasmobil AG, Euresearch und die Internationale Energie Agentur (IEA) zählen. Unterstützt wird das Forum ausserdem vom Schweizer Bundesamt für Energie, der International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies (FISITA) und dem Internationalen Automobil-Salon Genf.

Die zweite Ausgabe hat sich den Schwerpunkten alternative Energiequellen, Optimierung existierender Treibstoffe und zukünftige Vertriebsstrategien verschrieben. Die Automobilindustrie wird ausserdem ihre neusten Erkenntnisse zu saubereren Verbrennungsmotoren vorstellen und ihre Vision von umweltfreundlicher Antriebstechnologie darlegen.

Vertreter aus wissenschaftlichen, politischen und wirtschaftlichen Kreisen unterstützen das Forum, das erneut von Max Mosley, dem Präsidenten der FIA, geleitet wird.

Im letzten Jahr durfte IAMF gegen 400 Teilnehmer begrüssen, darunter auch Persönlichkeiten wie seine Hoheit Prinz Albert von Monaco, der übrigens zu den Schirmherren des Forums gehörte.

IAMF : Deuxième édition en 2009

Après son succès l’année passée, le forum sur la mobilité future - International Advanced Mobility Forum - (IAMF) se tiendra du 10 au 12 mars 2009 pour la deuxième fois dans le cadre du Salon International de l’Automobile de Genève. En point de mire cette année : l’approvisionnement en énergie pour la mobilité individuelle du futur et les mesures technologiques réduisant la consommation d’énergie.

Ce forum scientifique et public qui vise à promouvoir les technologies ainsi que les énergies respectueuses de l’environnement est organisé par Geneva Palexpo en partenariat avec l’association e’mobile, le Competence Center for Energy and Mobility (CCEM) du Paul Scherrer Institut, Gasmobil AG, Eurosearch et l’International Energy Agency. Il bénéficie entre autres du soutien de l’Office Fédéral de l’Energie suisse (OFEN), de The International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies (FISITA) et du Salon international de l’automobile Genève.

Sa deuxième édition sera essentiellement consacrée aux sources d’énergies alternatives, à l’optimisation des carburants existants ainsi qu’aux stratégies futures d’alimentation. L’industrie automobile présentera ses dernières trouvailles en matière de moteurs à combustion propres et ses visions d’une propulsion écologique pour l’avenir.

IAMF est présidé par Max Mosley, Président de la FIA, appuyé par des personnalités des milieux politiques, économiques et scientifiques.

L’année passée, parmi les quelque 400 participants, le forum a accueilli des personnalités aussi illustres que S.A.S. le Prince Albert de Monaco, qui a par ailleurs parrainé le forum.
