The curtain has fallen on the third edition of the International Advanced Mobility Forum that proved to be particularly rich and interesting. Plan now for the next IAMF on March 8-9, 2011.

How do you extract the maximum benefit from electric energy to propel the vehicles of tomorrow? How can the supply network be adapted to meet these new demands? How can this energy be stored in the most effective manner? How best to rethink our relationship between the automobile and our need for transportation? These are some of the many questions posed, and some of which were partly answered, during the richest and most captivating edition of the IAMF yet held.

The International Advanced Mobility Forum opens this morning at Palexpo

The third edition of the International Advanced Mobility Forum opened this morning at the Congress Centre at Palexpo. It brings into perspective the vehicles of tomorrow and the provision of energy sources to propel them. According to the presenters at the conference, the preoccupations regarding these topics are the same in Europe as for the USA: not only to support a gradual but certain modification of the number of cars on the road, but to overcome the obstacles to addressing the need to fundamentally change the concepts of transportation for the future.
