5th International Advanced Mobility Forum (IAMF), 78 March 2012 - Programme available now! Smart, intense and stimulating!

The programme of the 5th International Advanced Mobility Forum has been shaped to enable attendees to visit the Geneva International Motor Show, with the added advantage that all IAMF participants have free access to the Motor Show during the 2nd Press Day.


The programme comprises two half-days and includes four forum sessions and several poster sessions and is pitched at the very highest level. Among the key speakers presenting are well-known scientists and eminent personalities.
Programme 


The Speakers

Bernhard Gerster, IAMF President and Head of the Automotive Engineering Division at Bern University of Applied Sciences, Engineering and Information Technology (BFH-TI) will open the first session dedicated to Mobility Concepts. He will welcome Philipp Dietrich, Paul Scherrer Institut, Martijn Van Walwijk, IEA Implementing Agreement, Luca Buzzoni, Regione Emilia-Romagna and Griefried Jungmeier, Joanneum Research.

Yves Lehmann, President of e’mobile association, will chair the session about Human Behaviour and welcome Bettina Zahnd, AXA Winterthur and Prashant Jagdish Narula, Adam Opel AG.

The third session covers new research findings on Drive Train technologies. The speakers at this session will include Allan Cooper, EALABC (EEIG), Aymeric Rousseau, Argonne National Laboratory and Gil Georges, ETHZ.

The final session on Smart Interactive and Other New Technologies featuring a keynote speaker from Altran will be chaired by François Cuenot of IEA. This session will also welcome Hardi Hõimoja, from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), Andreas Fuchs, Elektrizitätswerke des Kantons Zürich and Jan Czerwinski, Bern University of Applied Sciences.

The Forum is oriented towards a scientific audience and representatives of the car industry, but is also open to the public. Schools, research centres, designers, engineers, local authorities and individuals interested in the subject are also most welcome to take part.
